I've realized a few things recently.
One: I need a house. I love to decorate spaces and make them all mine.
Two: that house needs a yard. Because I've realized I enjoy yard work. (Mom, don't worry, I'll help with yours when I'm home). I like to get my hands all dirty and mow the lawn even though I'm allergic to grass and pick fresh fruits and vegetables whenever I want.
Three: I need more time to cook and someone to cook for. I love to cook and bake. But when there's just one person.... it's not always worth it.
Four: I love the gym and I miss Planet Fitness like crazy! I am honestly much happier when I go to the gym on a regular basis. And for the most part I enjoy it while I'm there. Never thought I would say that, but it's true. They gym is what got me through nursing school, and the semester where I didn't go was definitely the worst semester. The rec center here is alright, I guess I'll make it work til I get the heck out of here!
Five: I love my job. I really do. I love being able to help people when they need it. True, some weeks I feel like a babysitter (like this last weekend with all our drunk patients) but it is truly something I enjoy.
Six: This may come as a shock to some of you...... I'm A CITY GIRL! :) I don't mind the open space out here. I really don't. It's the lack of things to do and places to go and stores that actually sell what I need. And my family. That's a big part of it.
Just some of my realizations from a much needed trip to the gym... :)
